Post-modern culture eludes many researchers who desire to capture its essence through modern theoretical perspectives and techniques. Researchers armed with the expertise and tradition of the scientific method attempt to confine this new beast with numbers, statistical analysis and careful calculation. Yet, it eludes. Others attempt to categorize and make sense out of postmodernism, to define it. In contrast, this work is a journey, a journey into postmodernism. The unexpected shifts on this journey lead to the core of a post-modern revelation. Readers are invited to look, and to experience this trek. Cowboys, simulacra and Hurricane Katrina appear at first glance in this work, but look past the pastiche surface of appearance and discover its revelatory depth and disclosure.
